Did you know heat pumps are one of the most energy efficient sources of heating and cooling? They heat on approximately a 1 to 3 ratio meaning that the heat output is about 3 times more than the actual electricity used. An average heat pump unit only requires approximately 1.8kW of electrical power to provide 5.4kW of heat. Compared to a traditional oil heater or wall heater which require 2kW of electrical power to provide 2kW of heat.

Most new heat pumps have Wi-Fi capabilities, or this feature can be installed as an extra.  Wi-Fi control gives you control over the heat pump to be able to turn on, turn off and set temperatures and fan speeds while they are not home. Providing the convenience of returning home to a house at the temperature you choose. Some units even have geo fencing capabilities which when synced with your phone, can pick up how far from home you are and automatically start to cool down or heat up the house.​
